Pewaukee Athletics Department & Jeff Behrens Honored with NIAA Quality Program Recognition at Exemplary Level

As the first district in the state of Wisconsin to do so, Pewaukee Athletics Department and Athletic Director Jeff Behrens receive the historic achievement by earning the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Quality Program Recognition at the Exemplary Level

Pewaukee, WI - The Pewaukee High School Athletics Department, led by Athletic Director Jeff Behrens, has achieved a historic milestone by earning the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Quality Program Recognition at the Exemplary Level. This recognition is part of the NIAAA's initiative to commend excellence in the implementation and administration of outstanding high school athletic programs.

The Pewaukee High School athletic program has been identified as a 2024 recipient of the NIAAA Quality Program Recognition at the Exemplary Level. This award requires the athletic administrator to present comprehensive evidence of existing policies, practices, and procedures that meet the suggested criteria within ten Quality Program assessment categories.

Pewaukee High School is the first school in Wisconsin to receive this distinguished award, underscoring its commitment to excellence and innovation in high school athletics.

In December, the Pewaukee Athletics Department will be formally recognized and presented with a plaque at the National Athletic Directors Convention in Austin, Texas. This event, attended by thousands of athletic directors from across the country, will take place on December 15th. The award underscores the department's dedication to maintaining and continuously improving its athletic programs.

Athletic Director Jeff Behrens, along with the Pewaukee High School administration, has shown remarkable leadership and vision in implementing and supporting a top-tier athletic department. Their efforts have set a benchmark for other schools in Wisconsin and across the nation.
